Psychotherapist – Telehealth (Remote Position)

JOB SUMMARY

Provide diagnostic assessment and evidence-based, time-limited teletherapy intervention to adults with mood and anxiety disorders. Contributes to the plan of care with knowledge of population specific needs as it relates to the identification of patient psychosocial needs. Actively collaborates with psychotherapy team manager and other team members to manage patient waitlist, assign new patients, and provide optimal mental health care.

The $5,000 sign on bonus is available for full-time Psychotherapists. This sign on bonus is not applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked for VUMC within one year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains professional documentation which meets departmental and VUMC standards as it relates to compliance.
  • Provides brief targeted interventions for identified clients via teletherapy services.
  • Completes psychosocial assessment and assists team with the development and implementation of the plan of care.
  • Meet regularly with psychotherapy team manager to discuss caseload progression, application of brief intervention model, discharge planning, and to assign new patients.
  • Provides education and or consultation to clients, treatment team and community.
  • Attends division and department meetings as scheduled via Zoom or in person as appropriate.

Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR):

  • Additional Qualification Information:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist.
