- Research contracts, agreements, and exclusivity waivers for existing deals pertaining to recorded music master use licensing
- Ensure the integrity of project data entered in our licensing databases by identifying and addressing inaccurate and/or incomplete information
- Collaborate and communicate with internal and external clients to locate missing contracts and/or other critical deal information
- Update inconsistent deal information and upload the associated contracts for support and documentation purposes
- Review agreements against received royalty statements to confirm accurate reporting
- Assist in resolving outstanding inquiries by identifying and locating missing contract support
- You work well independently and as part of a team
- You have exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of accountability
- You are able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects at any given time
- You demonstrate professionalism and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You have robust computer skills, including strong data entry and data analysis (with an emphasis on accuracy and problem solving)
- You demonstrate strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups), Word, and Outlook applications; familiarity with Microsoft Office's Access application is strongly preferred
- You are passionate about the success of Warner Music Group's artists
- A strong passion for music across a wide array of different genres
- A core understanding of basic industry concepts and familiarity with contractual terminology and structure
- Experience or familiarity with third-party licensing and/or artist royalties
- Background or interest in process improvement and automation
